Frequently Asked Questions
Is Inferno TBT like Crossfit?
Inferno TBT is similar to Crossfit in that our workout routines utilize circuit training & timed intervals. Where we differ is that we don’t focus on AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible). Instead, we’re more concerned with form & function. Both trainers prefer to see an exercise done with proper technique and will work with each individual to get it right.
How do I lose weight?
While Inferno TBT will help you along in your weight loss journey, changes to your daily eating habits need to accompany your training. People need to remember that in order to lose weight and keep the weight off, you need to make a lifestyle change. Diets die. Lifestyle changes do not.
Do you train private groups or teams?
We will do our best to accommodate private groups or teams depending on the desired schedule.
Do you do sports strength and conditioning?
Absolutely. Whether you’re looking for private training or want to bring the whole team in, we will use our knowledge and expertise to improve your strength, speed, and stamina. Call us today to discuss your goals.
Is Inferno TBT okay for beginners?
Young or Old, Male or Female, Beginner or Expert – our workouts are okay for everyone! We design all of our workouts to be challenging. The key is to go at your own pace. Yes, both trainers will be there to push you, but at the same time our primary concern is making sure each exercise is performed correctly.
Do you give diet plans?
We are not registered dieticians, therefore we do not. We can only give some general tips and suggestions for a healthy lifestyle change.
I’ve never worked out before. Can I do it?
Of course you can! We’ve worked with people of all different exercise experience. Both trainers will be there to help you along and answer any questions you might have.
I have a medical condition. Can I do it?
Anyone with a medical condition will need to supply a written physician’s release allowing them to exercise.
Will lifting weights make me bulky and manly?
Lifting weights will not make you bulky and manly! There is a lot more that goes into it besides just lifting weights. As a result of lifting weights, you may notice changes in the development of certain muscle groups. You may begin to see more definition in your muscles. Men and women have different hormones in their bodies that cause men to look more “bulky” when lifting weights. Diet is also a major factor. Tell us what your goal is and we’ll help you achieve it!
